The Capital Hotel, part of the Warwick Hotels and Resorts Group, is a cherished destination known for its legendary Afternoon Tea experience. Unveiling this year’s Chelsea in Bloom floral competition entry as Alice in Wonderland: The Mad Hatter Tea Party, with a whimsical and bold floral tribute to an iconic floral feast. Offering a feast for both the eyes and stomach.

It is believed that a possible source of inspiration for the Tea Party was drawn from the essence of Carroll's own fondness for tea gatherings with friends.

Alice in Wonderland: The Mad Hatter Tea Party floral installation brings to life the imaginative vision of Carroll’s beloved story.

Drawing inspiration from the classic tale, this enchanting display transforms the front of the hotel into a fantastical wonderland, complete with an oversized teapot with flowing florals, a floral cake fit for royalty, appearances by the Mad Hatter, the March Hare and the Sleepy Dormouse, plus nods to the beloved tale woven throughout.

Steeped in history and tradition, The Capital Hotel's afternoon tea has long been a beloved ritual for guests and dignitaries alike. Notably, the late Queen herself once graced the hotel with her presence for an Afternoon Tea in 2009, a testament to its unparalleled hospitality and impeccable service. Unlike the Mad Hatter Tea Party, it is served all afternoon and not just six o’clock!

The Capital Hotel: Situated in the heart of London's prestigious Knightsbridge, is renowned for its timeless elegance, seamless service, and extraordinary Afternoon Tea experience.
